Medicaid Medical Transportation
If you do not have transportation, you may be eligible for free transportation to and from your appointments for Medicaid-covered services.
Eligibility
All Medicaid beneficiaries with full benefits, except some who have Medicare and Medicaid.
Medicaid beneficiaries who are eligible for transportation services and do not receive transportation services through a managed care plan can schedule a ride through Southeastrans by calling (855) 325-7626.
Medicaid beneficiaries who receive transportation services from a managed care plan should contact their insurance providers:

All transportation requests must be done 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Transportation to out-of-state appointments may be arranged but does require prior approval but may take longer than 48 hours.
