Baton Rouge General has a fully accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation unit and Skilled Nursing unit that enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities following an acute injury or illness. Our staff provides individualized patient-centered care with the goal of optimizing physical independence.
Our Skilled Care Unit combines inpatient rehabilitation and 24-hour skilled nursing care, enabling our patients to regain their mobility. Working collaboratively to address their physical and emotional healing, our skilled staff provides an environment that maximizes quality of life.

How is a patient referred for inpatient rehabilitation?
