Cancer Rehabilitation and Therapy
Baton Rouge General’s cancer rehabilitation and therapy program consists of the following comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and is designed with you in mind, with access to our skilled and compassionate staff.

Inpatient Skilled Nursing
Our licensed skilled nursing units combine the advantages of rehabilitation and 24-hour skilled nursing care, helping return you back to the life you were leading prior to hospitalization. In an environment of caring and compassion with a focus on helping you regain quality of life.
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Our fully accredited 10-bed rehabilitation unit enhances and restores functional ability and quality of life following an acute injury or illness. Our staff provides individualized care to optimize physical independence.
Outpatient Rehabilitation
Our outpatient therapists offer a coordinated program geared toward providing the highest level of patient care using sophisticated techniques and evidence-based treatments, allowing you to make a greater recovery in less time. Services are offered for:

- Alaryngeal voice rehabilitation
- Artificial larynx
- Esophageal speech
- Tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP) speech
- Videoflouroscopic swallow studies
