Medical Education at BRG

Baton Rouge General became a teaching hospital in 1991. With several campuses and the opportunity to treat patients of all ages, medical conditions and varying socioeconomic backgrounds, our health system provides an ideal setting for aspiring doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals.

We have a variety of educational opportunities and are proud to be affiliated with several medical school programs, including Tulane School of Medicine, LSU School of Medicine, the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, and William Carey University.
