Baton Rouge General's School of Radiologic Technology

Baton Rouge General's School of Radiologic Technology provides students the education and training needed to start their career in diagnostic imaging. With two campuses, Baton Rouge General serves a diverse population that provides an ideal setting for its robust medical education and training program.

Baton Rouge General's School of Radiologic Technology is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) recognizes graduates of the program to obtain licensure as radiologic technologists upon passing the licensure examination.

Baton Rouge General Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology is currently licensed by the Board of Regents of the State of Louisiana. Licenses are renewed by the State Board of Regents every two years. Licensed institutions have met minimal operational standards set forth by the state, but licensure does not constitute accreditation, guarantee the transfer of credit, nor signify that programs are certifiable by any professional agency or organization.

Baton Rouge General's School of Radiologic Technology exceeds national standards with a five-year average first-time pass rate of 92%.
