Want to know more about our 12-week program?
Our 12-week program includes:
- Monitored sessions that are safe and effective. During your therapy, we will continuously monitor your progress and maintain frequent communication with your physician. Our goal is to ensure you are growing stronger and healthier.
- Tailored exercise routines including walking, cycling and other cardiovascular activities that can help you strengthen your heart.
- A healthy eating plan developed by our registered dietitians who will work with you to ensure that your diet fits your lifestyle and nutritional needs. Our dietitians will also motivate you, track your progress, and help you find ways to stick to your new plan.
- Emotional support from therapists who understand that dealing with heart and lung disease can sometimes cause depression, fear, anxiety and stress. Our nurses and counselors will help you and your family cope with these feelings and find comfort in your new, healthy lifestyle.
What Happens After Rehab?
Throughout your sessions, your rehab team will motivate you to maintain a healthy lifestyle and show you how to continue your progress at home. While your success depends largely on your dedication to your new lifestyle, you are never alone in your recovery.
To participate in the program, a physician referral is required. Call (225) 763-4452 for more information.
