The two leading cancer care centers in Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge General Cancer Center and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center are lighting a brighter path for cancer treatment in Louisiana, making it easier for patients to receive the highest quality care close to home.


Patient-Centered Approach to Cancer Care

Through this comprehensive program, patients will benefit in many ways, including:

  • Collaborative Clinical Programs: A variety of cancer care programs and services are available to patients including chemotherapy services, nutrition, rehabilitation, support groups, and medical oncology.
  • Convenient Locations: Our patients have access to enhanced treatment options across all partner facilities conveniently located throughout the Greater Baton Rouge community.
  • New Infusion Clinic: Located at Baton Rouge General’s Bluebonnet campus, this new infusion clinic offers patients a variety of amenities, including: 36 infusion bays and two private infusion rooms, each with heated infusion chairs that are specially designed for tablet use.
  • Infusion Center Pharmacy: Located within the treatment space, this pharmacy will expedite the process of treating patients.
  • Access to OneOncology: Through Mary Bird Perkins partnership with OneOncology, the national platform for independent oncology practices, our patients will receive exclusive access to hundreds of clinical trials and a customized, cloud-based electronic health record system
