About Me

Dr. Michael Todd Fontenot, FACOG, specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and has more than twenty years of perinatal clinical experience. Dr. Fontenot earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Dr. Fontenot is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

The nurses and doctor were very sweet , I would love to see them again .

My partner and I had the best experience. This appointment was one of great apprehension but all fears and anxiety were relieved at the end of the visit. We were treated with kindness, compassion and understanding. Being a Black American I sometimes feel I won't be treated with dignity and receive quality health care but my visit was excellent. Dr. Fontenot and his team were the best. The ultrasound tech was an incredible presence during the visit. She locked into who I was and the challenges I faced with my previous experience and ensured that I received great care and answered all questions and addressed each concern.

The whole staff listened to everything I had to say and had answers did it all. Even went out their way to direct me in locations I did not know how to get too.

Visiting this office was a great experience. It felt like I was really talking to family members, honestly, about my concerns and more. I'll definitely be back as far as the remainder of my pregnancy. But thank you guys.
