I met Dr Adhvaryu after being admitted to the ER. He has been nothing less than awesome. He is very easy to talk to & gives straight answers. He does what he promises & follows up to make sure things are going well after surgery (very important to me). He's a very positive person & knows what he is doing. The environment was very clean...from the waiting area, the rest room to the patient's room to see the doctor. My interactions with the receptionist, nurse and doctor were very cordial. I also did not feel rushed, which meant a lot to me.

The hospital and Doctors offices we're very clean. All the facilities seemed to be organized, which makes a big difference in the day to day happenings. That helps in preventing chaos and aids in helping patients & staff remain calm and focused. Compared to other large medical facilities, this one provided a much better experience. Was very refreshing to have everything from A to Z take place flawlessly.

He did good by me. When I had my first surgery with him, he was very on time. He's friendly. He don't hesitate to tell you what he needs to get done, and what you need to do. He's a very good doctor. I was admitted through the ER with abdominal pain. They checked me in quick and started running test. Discovered it was my gall bladder. Set me up for surgery and had it removed. Nurses and doctors were all very nice and professional.

I enjoyed everything about a visit from the time I checked-in until the time that I checked-out. Also, if I had to call back with a question, his nurse was very accurate. She she called back. Even when I had the surgery, I had to ask a question after I had the surgery. She came to the phone for me. I mean, I love everything about the office visit. The doctor is phenomenal. He's has done my surgery twice and I would definitely, definitely go back to him for any type of surgery that he is able to do, that I have to have. I enjoyed going to his doctors office and I enjoy him being my doctor. I would highly recommend him and staff to others.

His office, made me very comfortable. I made a last minute scheduling to the scene in two weeks ago. I called in and one day to set up the appointment for the very next day cuz I told him it's important. Dr. Adhvaryu was amazing. Well, I was very pleased with the experience. However, he was very late in seeing me. But I didn't mind because I was late to my appointment because of traffic... and he was very apologetic. But I wanted to explain that one. when when he didn't see me in a timely manner, but They were extenuating circumstances. It didn't affect my opinion of me one way or the other. He still still impressing me. That's it.
This provider, this doctor's assistant, sat down and listen to me and asked all the proper questions. And I gave all the right answers and then she went back and talk with him and he came in and the three of us all concluded that the time, and this time, I don't need surgery. But he did reiterate that if anything should change that was to contact him. I really appreciate talking to those those two. They were really great. There are few times I've found doctors who like to listen...who actually like to listen. And I really appreciate it. Both him and his assistant. Thank you.
I was in a lot of pain and they did nothing for me but gave other people pain medicine while I was suffering all they did was give me some fluids like that was gonna stop the pain, it doesn't matter cause I seen my surgeon and he's doing more than what they did!!! And he's not letting me sit in pain!

I would have appreciated knowing that I wouldn't be able to eat or drink, not even have ice chips, after the operation. It may have helped it be less stressful. I didn't get pain medicine in a reasonable amount of time. My head hurt so bad I was crying and it took hours for the nurse to bring something for pain. The nurse on duty was defensive and irritated and continued to take hours to tend to me.
I can't say enough good things about the doctor and staff at Baton Rouge General. They took such good care of me and I truly felt they cared for and about me. I was very touched by them all and so thankful ??

I came to the hospital and needed emergency gallbladder removal surgery. The staff from the emergency room, hospital room and surgical team were all very nice and helpful. Hope I don't need another hospital stay anytime soon, but if I do it will be at the Baton Rouge General.

This is the most compassionate office staff and Dr. I have come across in my entire life. The nurse went beyond and above to help with the paperwork in gathering all records. Dr Adhvaryu was the most heartfelt warm and compassionate doctor I've ever met and understood my daughters rare condition. My daughter and I were treated like family.

I appreciated him taking the time to listen to the complaints that I was having because so many other doctors have blown my complaints off and he did take the time to listen and do something to correct the problem that I was having with my abdominal pain.

The lady said she sent me some papers through post (which only reached after my visit) asking information. --When I checked my visit summary, I did not find all data were entered. Then why asking about that?

I am not a person that can go into surgery feeling positive, yet, have surgery by someone I had just met. I came to the hospital via ambulance with a great deal of pain and feeling awful. I was by myself, without my family. I had an umbilical hernia that suddenly caused much pain and other discomforts I could not handle. I was frightened and very insecure. My family did not arrive quickly as a tornado and storm delayed traffic, closed roads, and the hospital had many transfer patients from other hospitals. Patients were on carts and lined up and down the hallways. Dr. ADHVARYU was kind and treated me with much care. I felt completely confident with him. He explained what needed to be done to make me well. He explained all options and helped me make decisions. I had the most successful surgery recovery. I believe he is a very caring doctor. I was very comfortable at BRG. The staff was all very attentive and all helped me feel comfortable as my surgery caused pain and difficulty in mobility. I'm so thankful the emergency happened because I'm not sure I did not have a doctor yet for my condition. The entire situation happened that lead me to Dr. ADHVARYU. He is a wonderful doctor.
I like the way that doctors, well the nurse was able to get me in quickly and the doctor was extremely personable, very concerned, and took care of any questions and issues I had immediately, and addressed me, every answer, every question so that I could understand it. What a pleasant surprise that the staff was able to make me feel like I was the only patient there at that moment. After obtaining the information necessary for the proposed surgery, Dr. Adhvaryu wanted to know what questions or concerns I might have. And then he really listened to my concerns and discussed each of them with me.
