Short wait time everyone was courteous and helpful. Felt very comfortable with Dr. answered my questions hopefully we can continue to find a cure to better my health.
I waited a really long time for this appointment and the provider spent maybe five minutes with me. I didn't feel like I understood everything about what was going on but she did give me her opinion and I'm moving forward with this and I would recommend this doctor.

Dr. Schmeeckle is amazing. I've been her patient for years and will follow her wherever she goes. She was also my Mom's Dr and the only one who tried to help her. She is simply amazing.

Dr. Schmeeckle removed a spermatocele cyst about 3 years ago.At the time she was at the Baton Rouge Clinic.When I discovered a different ailment I chose to follow Dr. Ayme because she and staff are awesome.

Very pleasant visit with my doctor and his staff. The only negative was this was my first visit to this facility and no one was at the front desk to tell me which floor my doctor was on. There were no signs in the lobby directing me to the correct floor. I finally found some one and asked.

I was scheduled for an annual checkup that includes an ultrasound to determine status of kidney stones. I was told when the appointment was made that the ultrasound would be performed at the same facility & time as my office visit with Dr. Schmeeckle. I addressed this at check-in w/the receptionist & her nurse but received vague answers. I spoke with Dr. Schmeeckle about it & was told they were working on hiring a tech. This visit was a waste of time for Dr Schmeeckle & myself since we didn't have the ultrasound to look at & review its findings. Dr Schmeeckle told me that when a tech was hired they would notify me & I could run over & get it done which means another visit. Since this was an annual follow-up appointment there was no urgency & it could have been rescheduled at a later date when a tech was there. I am very disappointed in this visit.
Great experience over all, especially considering I have several issues that have suddenly come up. Dr. Schmeeckle and her staff have worked quickly to provide the care and solutions I need with care and kindness.
Contractually, this provider or Baton Rouge General Hospital doesn't accept FMOLHS' Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I wish I would have known this prior to scheduling this appointment with the nurse.

I wish I could have received more pain medication during procedure and one medical instrument she wanted to use was not available, so I didn't like that. Maybe it would have helped ease some discomfort.
The only thing that I would suggest is that written instructions be given a few days before the procedure. I was interested in following the correct procedure but had to ask for them. I realize this is a new area for the hospital. I'm very satisfied with the service and staff.

Ayme is the best Urologist I have ever had at the Baton Rouge Clinic. She was very thorough in my past dealings with her and I am confident she will continue to be just the same at her new location with Premier Urology. She responds to questions promptly.
Dr. Schmeeckle is very informative, very knowledgeable, and she does not recommend or advise anything surgery-wise or medication-wise that is not necessary. She makes sure that it is a necessary type procedure or medication, and gives you the options to go ahead and take time to consider it by trying no intervention for a short while, and then continue until the time that intervention is necessary.
All the staff work in a manner to instill confidence in their care for me.
I was greeted Dr. Ayme in a very open, friendly manner. She asked appropriate questions and answered my questions. Dr Ayme gave me all the next steps for my ongoing care and her staff followed suit making sure I understood the instructions and planned my next appointment before I left the office.

My visit Dr Schmeeckle was excellent. I am a new patient and when I first see a physician there has to be a connection, like any other relationship. Better training at Intake Desk would be appreciated...helps to expedite process!!! Felt like most of the requested information was given before and should already be in the system (MyChart). Also, Intake Desk was overwhelmed by arriving patients due to lack of available staff.
