My provider did not have the medical records sent to her by my Cardiologist. This is not her problem, it is a problem with the way the records are received and distributed. This is a severe problem and need to be looked into. Now I have to go back whenever she receives my cardiologist records.
I was very happy to be able to get my Dr visit, bloodwork, and mammogram all done within a very short time. And I received most of my test results back within a few hours.
It's nice to go to a Dr that listens and makes me feel comfortable.

Things went well for my emergency surgery.
Now a days to have a physician listen to you instead of look at their computer was wonderful, it made me feel important. I felt like what I was going through was not just important to me but also to the physician and how she handled my care was comforting. I was treated like a person not just another number. My emotions and concerns were addressed and she showed empathy along with the desire to help, so that in itself for me was what help make my experience comforting. Physician explained everything she planned to do and why, explained what she felt was going on and had a goal that we both agreed on. Her concern was for me and not just to put me on a pill and send me away...So yes I was very pleased with my experience.
Sometimes when I call to make an appointment, the scheduling desk puts me on hold for a very long time.

I would like to express the fact that when I had my blood work done prior to my visit I requested to have my testosterone checked because I have suffered from low T in the past and know the symptoms witch I am going through now upon my visit with my doctor I was told they did not check for low T I have made this request the last two times I have done blood work with no results she claimed due to my past history's of surgery testosterone treatment is a high risk witch I understand but I also did not get results for what they did check for all I got was a verbal response everything is good I would like to see the numbers on paper There has to be a solution for my low T issues

This is not a reflection on the doctor or the staff, but the phone lines need to be fixed at Baton Rouge Ascension Physicians. I've called multiple times in the last week, and it just, you know, says that you're the fifth one in the caller line and nobody ever picks up. And every time I call, it always says I'm the fifth caller in the queue. And I've been on hold for 20, 25 minutes before until I hang up.
Dr. Coleman is a very thorough doctor. I enjoy having her as my doctor. She is very good.

I was so impressed I have neglected having yearly check ups for years. In this one visit I had a wellness checkup. I am scheduled for a mammogram and bone density test. Along with a Cologuard test sent to me. If I had not gone to Dr. Coleman I am sure these tests would not have been scheduled. Her bedside manner is amazing, I am forever grateful to her and her staff I will be back for sure.
