Baton Rouge General, Rouses Team Up for Free Health Checks

BATON ROUGE, La. – Baton Rouge General (BRG) has teamed up with Rouses Markets to offer free health events, including glucose testing, blood pressure and body mass index checks, at locations around the Baton Rouge metro area.

The free health checks will take place:

Saturday, January 21: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Arlington Place Rouses Market near LSU

600 Arlington Creek Centre Blvd., Baton Rouge

Friday, March 3: Noon-3 p.m.

Juban Crossing Rouses Market

10130 Crossing Way, Suite 300, Denham Springs

Members of BRG’s health and wellness team will also be on site with nutrition tips and healthy recipes. They’ll also share information about the popular Grocery Store Tours, led by BRG dieticians at area Rouses locations.
