From the very beginning of my appointment, from checking in all the way until I was seen by my doctor, everyone was very welcoming and kind. The doctor was very attentive and listened to all the issues that I had. In fact, I had 12 written down on a piece of paper and she addressed every one of them. She didn't seem rushed. She didn't seem like my questions and concerns were bothersome. She thoroughly went into explanation and I very much appreciate that. She treats me like a person and not a number. That's very rare to find these days. Thank you so much.

My experience was truly efficient, informative, and welcoming. I always feel like family whenever I come in for a scheduled appointment. The ladies at the front desk, the nurses, the ultrasound tech, phlebotomist, and pretty much the entire staff and Dr Barrios always make my visits comfortable as possible. It's always a friendly and warm environment and I couldn't have requested for any better service. The staff goes above and beyond. Outstanding care unit!

Where the examination was really simple I guess I didn't see like she was actually observing my thyroid or my breast and she was just barely touching and saying fine, you're fine. No explaining during the time of my test. That's all.
It's a very expensive me back at Baton Rouge General for a doctor appointment.
After much anxiety with my experience at another facility, transferring to Baton Rouge General was the best choice I have made. I am at ease now and very happy with the way my Dr and staff listen and care. I am very pleased with everything and can be at ease and trust with my baby and I care.

I wasn't sure what time my appointment was so I thought I'll get there for 2 bc it was 2 or 2:30 it was neither it was 3:00 we laugh and joked about me being on time . They were all so nice and took me on in . Only had to wait about 10 minutes. Everyone was wonderful ? My doctor is absolutely amazing love her.
Dr. Barrios always take the time to make sure that all of my questions are answered, no matter how silly they are. And I always feel like her staff also knows me just as well, they make me feel very welcomed.
I feel that my doctor was very open and thorough when explaining things to me and she makes me very excited to care and wellness journey with her being my OBGYN.
I just want someone to know what an incredible doctor Dr. Barrios is. It's true, she saved my life, but beyond that incredible act, she always goes out of her way to make me feel seen and heard. She's never made me feel judged for things that other providers might. She is kind and caring, but honest. She always delivers sensitive information very directly in a way that always sounds compassionate and calm. When my life was in danger, I could have been thrown into complete panic had it not been for her calming way of breaking the news to me. My visit this time was met with lots of anxiety because of what happened with my last birth, but after talking to her I felt totally comfortable and at ease. She listened to my million questions and had honest answers for them all. I just think she deserves praise for the physician that she is. In every aspect of her job. The rest of the staff at the OBGYN clinic is equally amazing! I don't know anyone that looks forward to visits to the "lady doctor," but I have to say, I get so happy knowing I'll get to see all of their smiling welcoming faces. I'd never go anywhere else in the world! I realize that o probably sound mind a crazy person, but I'm pregnant and emotional and they really are that amazing.
I absolutely love Dr. Barrios!! Even though I only see her annually, I feel like she is a friend and has a genuine compassion for me and my family. So thankful for her and can only hope that she receives the recognition that she deserves!!

When no other doctor made time for me when I was trying to find a doctor for over a month they made space for me which meant a lot since I called over 40 doctors and I'm 20 weeks pregnant. Staff was kind and informative and handled our situation of my first obgyn visit and have it be a schedule 2 ultrasound as well very kindly and with respect. I appreciate dr. The entire staff at Dr. Barrios' office has been amazing throughout my 8 years of care there. This visit was no exception. The admin staff is welcoming and friendly, the nurses are professional yet warm. Dr. Barrios is the most caring and devoted doctor I've ever had. She was the first doctor to take my endometriosis pain seriously, and she helped me manage the pain for several years before guiding me through pregnancy and delivering my child via c section. Then she helped put an end to my pain permanently with a hysterectomy and I could not be more grateful to her and her team. She truly listens and cares, and offers knowledgeable opinions while making sure I feel in control of my options. Amazing, always!!
