Bio

Dr. Hartman Brunt is a Louisiana native who earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2018. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of New Orleans.

He was awarded the Chief Resident’s Award in 2021 for demonstrating excellence in service to LSU’s Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he established a virtual medical education and innovation framework during the COVID-19 pandemic. He completed a Research Scholar’s Tract during his residency training and is published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, for which he currently serves as an editorial board volunteer reviewer. He is a member of The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and is part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
