Baton Rouge General Foundation Announces New Members to Board of Governors

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Baton Rouge General Foundation recently announced three new members of its Board of Governors, each elected to serve a three-year term beginning January 1. In addition, Rick Bond has been named the new chairman of the board.
The board’s first new member is Leslie Berg, community liaison for Lee Michael’s Fine Jewelry. She has also served on the board for the Emerge Center, Junior League and Episcopal School of Baton Rouge.
Joining Berg on the board is Mimi Singer Lee, executive vice president and chief human resource manager at b1Bank. In addition to her involvement with Junior League, she serves on the University Laboratory School Foundation board.
Julian White, engineering manager for Shell Geismar, is another new face to the Foundation’s board. He has passion for improving access to health care and removing barriers to care.
Bond, who is also an ex officio member of BRG Board of Trustees, will serve as the chairman of the Foundation board. The Baton Rouge native is co-owner of Bond Construction Co., and also operates Clear Net Worth LLC and Clear Properties LLC. He has also served as vice president of the board of directors for the American Cancer Society in Baton Rouge.
