Baton Rouge General Wins National Consumer Loyalty Award

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Baton Rouge General (BRG) was ranked 83rd in the nation and first in Baton Rouge for consumer loyalty, according to National Research Corporation (NRC) Health’s new Consumer Loyalty Awards. The Consumer Loyalty Awards are the first and only loyalty-based hospital rankings in the U.S, recognizing the top healthcare facilities garnering extraordinary loyalty from their patient populations.

“Our clinical programs fully encompass a patient’s needs and wants, and that builds loyalty -- one patient, family member or friend at a time,” said BRG President and CEO Edgardo Tenreiro. “From our grounds crew to our food service team, from our nurses to our physicians, patients are our top priority. We know patients have a choice, so when they come to us and leave wowed by their experience -- that is more valuable than any advertising.”

NRC Health evaluated organizations in seven categories: image and branding, engagement, ability to meet needs, accessibility, motivation of preference, service experience, and whether a consumer would recommend the facility. More than 310,000 households nationwide were polled from June 2017 through May 2018 as part of the survey.
