Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is a 4-hour course that provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and the use of an AED. The course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who provides childcare.
Course Objectives:
- Understand child CPR & AED use
- Understand child choking
- Understand Infant CPR
- Understand first aid
- Universal precautions
- Finding the problem
- Allergic reaction - epinephrine pen use
- Control bleeding
- Understand opioid overdose
- Optional modules:
- Adult CPR
- Adult choking
Validation Method: Return demonstration of skills and application of knowledge observed by a qualified instructor (written test optional if required by employer).
You must also purchase a Heartsaver Pediatric Provider Manual before your class date. You can purchase the e-book or hard copy.
Please be advised that this course is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of registrations is not met. We will decide to cancel 48 hours before the scheduled course date. In this event, registered participants will be notified and appropriate arrangements will be made, including refunds or rescheduling options.
