What services are available on the Mobile Health Unit?
We offer basic primary care and urgent care services, wellness exams, on-site testing, and health insurance assistance.
Do I need to have an appointment to use the Mobile Health Unit?
Walk-ins are accepted but appointments are encouraged. When possible, please try to schedule an appointment ahead of time by calling 225-763-4500.
Is insurance accepted?
Yes, we accept most major insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.
I don’t have health insurance. Can I still have an appointment?
Yes, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana will be available to help enroll you in an insurance plan including Medicaid or Medicare.
*No cash or drugs are kept in the unit.
